    SHOT 2019 seems flat

Anybody excited for anything out of SHOT 2019?

I have gone a few times and this year seems to be a total flop. With the new hassle of Vegas security and down time in the gun industry overall the show seems pretty unexciting this year. With the exception of the Glock 43X/48, there isn't anything I'm seeing that I can't wait to at least be able to get in hand to check out. I saw the .350 Legend from Winchester which looks neat, but I already have a .308 AR, 6.5 Grendel and even a .35 Remington, so the cartridge doesn't do much for me personally.

What's the cool new stuff this year?

I'm interested in seeing if we're getting the PSA mp5 clone this year. Also oddly interested in the rumored new Hi Point pistol. Otherwise, seems like its just going to be a bunch of "new" striker fired polymer pistols and ARs.

Daniel Defense announced a bolt action rifle. I'd be interested in seeing that.

What’s in a name? For Daniel Defense’s new Delta 5 bolt action rifle, quite a bit actually! In mathematics, the delta symbol signifies change, and in that sense, this new rifle is aptly named.

i'm surprised ruger didn't announce a caliber xchange kit for their PCC.

i mean unless the PCC is still selling like hot-cakes then i can see why they don't want to spend the R&D / tooling costs

Reminds me of a Sig Sauer SSG3000.

I'm hoping for more AK-47 imports and/or more accessories (optic mounts, handguards, muzzle breaks, etc.) since I've been getting back in to AK's lately. I feel like there should be a lot more options with this platform.

On a side note, I've been emailing Lancer Systems trying to convince them to produce an AK-47 magazine. Fingers crossed!

for the last 3-5 yrs all I am seeing is new ammo type and guns to put them in. .22, 9mm, 5.56, 308, shells and maybe 2-3 others are the norm, the rest besides a few are just an ingenious way to tap into consumerism

ATI says they're going to release US made Galils on milled receivers ... for ~1k-1200.
                              Miniguns are always cool.

Aside from that, get cracking on the gearz and warez. Guns will advertised all year long, but the new jackets, bags, knives, torches, etc - that's the fun stuff.
