NEW Sig Sauer P320 X Compact

I went on the sig website yesterday and saw they have a new model of the P320. The X Compact. This thing looks pretty sick. I was just wondering if anyone has heard any reviews about it....... I know it's off roster which is retarded but still. I'd like to know what any of you guys know if anything about this little heart stopper.

The slide is optic ready and already have enhanced trigger and sights. I wonder what the price tag is.

I'm excited about the grip module. I don't like how the rear sight is integrated into the optic cover as that severely limits what sights you can use.

It can't be anymore than the RX Carry or the Vtac...... hopefully. But if I get the chance to buy one it'll be California prices so double the MSRP most likely. That whole P320 series peaks my interest. I almost have a hard time deciding, especially now that the x compact has beed revealed it's even more challenging. Hopefully I'll be moving to a free state soon so I don't have to pay inflated prices. I'm interested to see the price tag too. I agree with Tony about the optic cover. It puts limits on your options.

1.3" width is fairly wide for a carry gun. I wouldn't have mentioned it but I was watching the video thinking..."wow that thing looks wide." Compare that to a Glock 19 which is 1" wide.

              MSRP is $0.00. I'll take a dozen!

The reason the sight is on the base is so that it comes off when the optic is mounted. The mounting point is probably moved rearward from what the old normal was. Look at any 320RX - the optic frame is probably all dinged up from ejecting brass, and the lens is no doubt also. I have a "distributor special" with the Romeo pushed back and no rear sight on the slide, probably to avoid ejecting brass. That's probably the standard going forward. The Romeo has an integral rear sight on it.
