I have a friend that just moved to Rocklin form San Francisco. I was wondering if anyone on can recommend some good places to go shooting. I'm looking for recommendations on both ranges and any good BLM sites to do some plinking.

Lincoln has a decent club, just north of town on Hwy 65. I just moved to the area and am not familiar with areas to plink.45 Saves Lives / 1911 HeathenComment

The closest place is the Lincoln Rifle Club http://www.lincolnrifleclub.com
Sac Valley Shooting Center is awesome but quite a drive.
The Cordova Shooting Center is purportedly also nice but I have never personally visited there.

Thanks for the suggestions! Sounds like there are several ranges in the area to choose from.
Does anyone know of any BLM sites near Rocklin where you can shoot unsupervised?
