Springfield TRP owners..I need your help!

Hi All. I am trying to order a custom holster for an STI Duty one (no longer made) and need to get the measurement that you see below. The TRP with a half rail appears to be the closest match.

My friend who works security bought a nighthawk custom. They don’t make a level 2/3 holster for it. The problem is certain parts are aluminum rather than steel so those parts were more bulky than a govt. profile 1911.

I’m not sure if Safariland makes a holster for your gun but you could browse their product catalog. If one is made I’m sure you could order it from a local shop. I could get Safariland products from my CA vendor but shipping to me then to you would be cost prohibitive and you could get it cheaper locally.

You could call them and ask what holster for your gun as well, but again, don’t be surprised if they don’t make a duty holster for it. Some guns never had duty holsters made for them.

Give these guys a call. Be specific about what you have as far as any attachments on your pistol. The will mock it up on a blue gun and mold it custom.
They did my sig226 with light/laser on rail.

I have a TRP, but it’s not a carry weapon for me.

Only have the non-rail TRP so cant help you, sorry. But looking at that rail it resembles the Colt M45/rail gun rail, larger and bulkier then the standard 1911 rail. I got a feeling it would be compatible with Colt rail gun holsters.
