    He was a sweet boy...

    News Report

"SF Police Union Decries Jailhouse Revolving Door

    Simon Perez
    Reporting

(CBS 5) SAN FRANCISCO A teenager bailed out of jail by community groups who were outraged over his arrest is back behind bars, with police upset at those who got him out.

The San Francisco Police Officers Association, a union representing more than 2,000 police officers, is upset that yet again 19-year-old Tyrelle Taylor, who has a history of violent charges, has been picked up again for allegedly carrying an AK-47 assault weapon.

"Our cops are demoralized for reasons like this," said San Francisco Police Officers Association President Gary Delagnes. "These aren't just your run-of-the-mill recidivist criminals. These are recidivist criminals with weapons, with guns, with AKs, with M-16s. There has to be a greater consideration of who the hell you're letting out."

Taylor was arrested Monday night in the Hunters Point. He was out on bail awaiting trial, accused of being in a shootout at the same intersection in September 2005. Taylor was also involved in a scuffle with police in 2002.

Monge-Irizarry and the foundation she started in her son's memory had raised the $15,000 to get Taylor out of jail after the alleged shootout with police.

"I've met Tyrelle," said Mesha Monge-Irizarry. "He was a very sweet boy. He was currently working."

Monge-Irizarry told CBS 5 she does not regret raising money to post Taylor's bail.

"I'm communicating with the family. If it is true, my position is all our kids are redeemable," she said. "To me, the real criminal is the city for not providing the jobs, the healthcare, the schooling system that our kids need as an alternative to illegal survival means."

Taylor was still out on bail Monday night because his trial over the alleged shootout with police was not scheduled to start until November 19.

Wednesday, the San Francisco District Attorney's Office charged Taylor with five felony counts of gang involvment, carrying an assault weapon, an unregistered and loaded firearm, being a gang member in possession of a firearm, and false imprisonment.

Taylor was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning, according to the district attorney's office."

Maybe they will bail him out again.. And where are they getting the M16's from?

I've been through some hard times without healthcare, without a job, without school (Had to miss one year because we were damn near broke) , but I didn't go out and shoot people because of it. That is nothing but an excuse by someone to justify their actions. Guess what now? We own 2 homes, will one another and sell the other two for a 90g profit. We paid off all our debts, even the cars and credit cards...so I don't know how someone could say its because of this they can't do something. Thats just irresponsible and lazy. If you REALLLY want to do it, you will do it!

OLL Test case - need bail money???

hey.. I have an idea. When the OLL test case comes up can we ask Monge-Irizarry and the foundation she started in her son's memory to help us bail out our guy?

I can see it now - He was just a sweet kinda guy with a legal OLL, its not his fault that the DOJ is plotting against him. DAMN Kalifornia libs and Dems in the DOJ never gave him a chance. The MAN was holding him down and plotting against him!!!! Down with the MAN!!

Lets ask.. maybe they will say yes and bail out our someday soon to be test case with an OLL...

HAHA.. OK I am not funny. We already established that earlier.

The folks in that city are dancing to a different tune. I worked on the streets for a couple of years and couldnt wait to get out of that place.

It was typical to have someone come up to with a weapon and tell you your not disconnecting dail tone or putting taps on the lines.

Morons dont know all that stuff is done by some lady miles away.

Is it just me or is anyone else sick and tiered of the perception and conviction many have that nothing in life is their fault, but its always the fault of others.

Based on her concept of determinism, we should throw society out the door for we have no free will and we are merely a reflection of our environment.
People like her sicken me, but its not my fault, its "the environment that I was raised in" that caused me to be sickened by her.

Its not the cities job to raise your stupid a55 kids. Make him go look for a job, work hard enough for your own healthcare, teach your own kids if you are unhappy with THE FREE school your kids can go to. We have more things going for us in this country then any other and yet she still has to b!tch . People like her piss me off. Its all about "what can I get for free" and "its someone elses fault". People, raise your kids. Don't let the gov do it because we all know they can do anything right let alone raise a child to be a good upstanding person. Teach them morals, values and pride. Where has the day gone that your family name was worth something. A mans words has turned to nothing. I fear for society, I really do

This is the mentality of people who give birth to criminals and encourage their kids to become criminals. In public, they have this facade of caring for "their people", but in private they really are supporting criminals. They have this Robin Hood mentality and blame the government or anyone who's not one of "their people" for their own problems. To me, the real criminals are the ones who commit crimes and those who support them.
I grew up in San Francisco near this place and the mentality of the local low lifes is undescribable to anyone who's never lived there.

Edit: the govt does give the neighborhood residents the health care, school system, and some jobs they currently have. The area along Third street is an enterprise zone, which was set up to attract businesses who got large tax breaks and low cost loans to open shop and hire local delinquents and drug addicts. The kids get bus service to go to schools in the Sunset, Richmond, and North Beach districts because the NAACP sued the city in the 1980's. The county hospital, SF General is nearby just off HWy 101. So, even after the govt provides all these services, they still say it's the govt fault for their kids turning into criminals.
