Its with great sadness that another decent cop has been murdered by a protected illegal alien by California sanctuary laws.

I have not seen any info on how this cold blooded killer obtained a gun when its difficult for legal citizens to buy firearms.

If anyone has info, maybe this could be addressed as way to secure the safety of Californians.

To address the title of this thread- there is no way he lawfully purchased this gun via an FFL dealer. Did he “buy” it off the street, trade drugs/stolen property for it or steal it himself? The manner in which he obtained it will likely fit within one of those questions.
