    Lube

    What's better for polymer guns...
Gun oil, auto motor oil 10-40, or grease?

Gun oil for metal parts to prevent corrosion, gun grease on metal parts that have friction.

      CLP. It works for me.

But each one has his magic oil, grease, or butter, etc...

Any of the popular choices are way way better than nothing, so it may not matter much which you choose. Yes, some go on easier, last longer, or smell better.

          Of course, there's Froglube ....

I use nothing but Delo Diesel oil and Marine axle bearing Grease. I've had a couple of my guns go swimming while Trout fishing no rust .

Safariland CLP is always work for me, just don't mix lubricants because they tend to get gummy. In the FrogLube paste is pretty bad stuff as well don't use that.

I would recommend gun lube / oil, that works as a cleaner and lubricant

a bottle lasts a long time, no need to use motor oils, unless thats all you have

                  Breakfree CLP

                  Ballistol

Slip 2000 30 wt. EWL and the excellent EWL grease on rails.

just don't waste money on snake oils...

lucas marine grease is probably the same as their gun lube, at a fraction of the cost.

It's vastly more important how and when you apply then what brand of the hundreds of products out there.

I currently use CLP and the Lucas Extreme duty gun oil . The gun oil was basically free. Will use full syn motor oil after it's gone.
