    One big alleged Glock flaw!!!

Handgun maker Glock advertises its pistols as the embodiment of perfection, and the Austrian-designed handguns have indeed attracted a fanatical following. One complaint about Glocks, however, is that their trigger pull is too light to be safe, causing accidental discharges. Is there any basis to this rumor? The Glock 17 handgun was released in the […]

Maybe better Trigger discipline would help.

I’ve never pressed the trigger on a Glock that was factory and thought it was too light.

Yes, but if you re-write it and attach click bait to it, it makes it a whole new article!
I dreamed of owning a (insert off roster gun here)...

Oh yeah....then the earth splits open with me on one side and the (off roster gun) on the other. Then appeared a large red-glowing pit with gavin newscum, diane frankenstein and governor "brown the drain" at the bottom of it, waving their pitchforks at me.

I have a ton of Glocks. No stock trigger has ever come in under 6.5 pounds. Most were between 7 and 8 pounds.

The article is a nothingburger anyway.

Factory Glock triggers aren't light by any stretch of the imagination.

              Nope, they are not light.

My G17's trigger has smoothed out with use (4K rounds). I do not find it objectionable at all.

It comes down to training and personal comfort level. As such, I will always be a hammer fired DA/SA guy..

I love Glock design! That boxy look to me is awesome but my only problem with them is the safety (the thing preventing you from pulling the trigger) being inside the trigger? lol Safe Action Trigger guns are such a funny design to me coming from a DA/SA fanboy.

Some NDs are about trigger pull (like the guy on this forum who used his thigh to stop the slide while pulling the trigger to disassemble, what turned out to be, a loaded G21). However, many NDs are about *something else* pulling the trigger...

It all comes down to one's "discipline between the ears", which we all know there's a lack of these days. What's sad is that every time something serious happens to anyone, the system looks to place the blame on someone else, typically someone with deep pockets.

I don't own any Glocks but have fired several and never thought the trigger action on any could be considered light.

Light trigger? I thought the flaw was that it felt like a harbor freight staple gun?
