Same here, but I must add copper projectiles. I'm on a .44 and .308 Barnes run right now. ...and I can only afford so many. I could use the extra grand! heehaw.

(Come July '19! lead and jacketed lead projectiles will be further prohibited when taking game. Was just when in condor areas but now it's going to be when taking game anywhere in California ...[dunno about when on yer own property, though])

Some fun suggestions here.

I'd either:

1. Buy a Ruger PC Carbine and red dot, then rest on 9mm ammo.
2. Buy a Marlin 1894 CSBL.
3. Buy a bolt action rifle (Tikka T3x Lite probably) in .243 and a scope.

2 and 3 are about equal. It's kind of my wishlist at the moment...
