Looks like an sbr to me, seeing as how it has a stock and a barrel shorter than 16 inches.

Featureless doesn’t apply to AR pistols and that foregrip isn’t featureless friendly even if it was a rifle imo.

Seems like someone really mixed up their understanding of the law.

The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

huh? featureless absolutely applies to pistols. that's how you can have a Glock (or other conventional pistol) with a detachable magazine.

      it's fixed mag too...

I think the angle makes the brace look like a stock. Seems the brace is sculpted to look like a stock. Could be a stock but the bulged look seems more brace like.

Brace? Looks like the latest generation Thordsen

And with the way they have built the buffer tube cover, it might even be a thumbhole stock

              That's not a brace, it's a Thordson stock.

I see a comp mag. So with the mag being locked in. This is all moot banter of thinking it is illegal.

I definitely wouldn't go near that configuration.

SBR laws and AW laws are different. In addition, there are both federal and state SBR laws.

Somebody could take a bolt action 22 - not an AW - chop the barrel and create an SBR.

The picture in the OP shows both a short barrel and a stock...and if it didn't have a stock, wouldn't that foregrip make it an AOW?

That makes no sense at all.

I'm pretty sure it's both an SBR and an AW: SBR is obvious, and then AW as it's a SACF rifle <30"

                            Thordsen stocks: https://www.thordsencustoms.com/frs-...fle-stock/?p=1

Sure looks like a stock with the cheek rest added:

IF its a CA pistol and over 26" long (very likely) the front grip is fine. See the Franklin Arms XO-26.
