    General Gun discussions moved?

    Why is it the the general discussions forum now?

    I see there is a new rimfire thread in gun discussions, what's up?
    I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

    and

    If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".

              Okay, I'm kidding!

              I posted this announcement a couple of days ago about a slight reshuffling and some additions.: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/a...ement.php?f=72

              There have been calls for several new forums and the few I added seemed to be the most wanted and most in keeping with the spirit and intent of Calguns.

              As for moving General Gun Discussion down from Firearms to General Discussion, it seems a more fitting place given that while it is focused on guns it's more about the general talking then it is about specific types.

                  Well it was always under "Firearm Discussions", now it's under the "General Discussions".

                  So yes it has always been here, but it's under a different section.

                                  It looks like everything was quickly rearranged. Might have had something to do with talk about a "rimfire" forum (which HAS appeared, and the "rifleman's forum") is now called the "centerfire rifle forum."
