Talked to Mack today, mine should be shipped in the next week or two. But then again, I put my name on the wait list back in Dec.

Yeah ....I ordered after the new year,but I cancelled mine in the nic of time......when I called about 3 weeks ago it was allready packaged for delivery.

Too many purchases on my card......I'll look at it again after the new year (bonus time)if it's still possible.

I had called in back in June to be removed from the list, but they had shipped the lower and charged my card. After finally getting in touch with MGI (left many voicemails), they said the lower had already shipped and was at my FFL. Decided I might as well DROS it.

I almost went for it also, but christmas is just around the corner ....and just like the christmas stuff is starting to show up in stores.....the gift hints are rollong in also.....

i was torn, but in the end, i knew i would regret passing up on it. picked her up today, no more STAG logo, but i wish they came up with a logo of their own.

MGI said it should be "soon".

Where did you see that price? I was quoted quite a bit lower than that directly from MGI on the phone. But that was in February when I ordered.

ETA Okay, I just got back from the MGI site and it is listed as $599.00. But when I talked to the MGI guy on the phone to get on the list he said that they were doing stripped lowers only for the CA buyers. So no butt group, no fcg, no nothing. Just a stripped receiver and AR magwell.

It wasnt the stripped lower though. I couldnt find it on their website. I really do not have an interest in finding out how much they wanted so I have not called them to find out their pricing.

If I wanted a .308 rifle I would get another M1A. Thats just my opinion though.
