I just bought one of the UTAS XTR-12's and reading up on this firearm it supposedly can take a DPMS ar10 Upper. I have reached out to UTAS to get more info but that would be Awesome if that is the case. I would assume it would need a special magazine as well. Any one know anything about this this concept?

I have a UTAS 12 and have a CMMG upper. It works and cycles. Remember to change out your spring and buffer to 308 or you ll cause some damage. Also don’t buy a Bear Creek arsenal upper. I did to save some cash and that upper didnt work at all.
All you need is the Utas lower and a good dpms upper. Change out the buffer and recoil spring to a 308. Regular 308 mags well work.Last edited by Scjon03; 02-03-2019, 12:01 PM.Comment

If you order from Atlantic Firearms it's currently $899 for the CA legal XTR-12 (black).
Add $30 to have it shipped to your CA FFL dealer.
Add transfer fee that your CA FFL dealer charges. (Ammo Bros charges $75)
Add CA use tax.
Add $25 DROS fee.sigpic
