You can get all the stuff included in that one for less than $70 if you shop a bit. Unless u need the bag.

I use a tackle box. Chemicals are on the shelf.
        One piece cleaning rods hanging.
I buy brushes, jags, mops, etc when on sale.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

That kit is "out of stock," btw.

The only reason, IMO, to buy a universal kit is because you can get the components cheaper than if you bought them separately. Kits, however, usually have a minimal amount of supplies and you'll be replenishing things pretty quickly unless you only shoot once or twice a year. The quality of the supplies in the kit, however, aren't always as good as what you can buy separately. And in a large universal kit like the one you selected, you may be spending money for things you won't ever use. No point in having a particular caliber brush if you never shoot that caliber.

My point is, I think it's often better to just straight buy what you need. Find and spend a little money on a good cleaning rod that you like...cause you'll be using it for a long time. Then buy a bag of 500-1000 patches, the specific caliber brushes you need, and your favorite solvents/lubricants. I like Breakthrough Clean an awful lot for a solvent and Wilson Combat Ultima Lubes for lubricants. These things are usually much higher quality than the generic CLP you usually get with a kit. CLP is usually good enough, however.

If you do go the buy seperate route as suggested, this box work really well.
