    Obtaining a COE/ FFL03

How and where does one apply for this? How much red tape do I have to wade through?

What is the cost for the application? How often do you get audited by Doj?

Had my C&R FFL for over 20 years. Only contact with ATF has been for renewal. Got COE last year. Haven't had any other contact with state.

It's too easy. Pay some fees. Fill out some forms. I think I live scanned as well. Less than 3 months later I had both in hand. The 03ffl came in 6 weeks I think.

I've enjoyed the perks of having it. Now I'm tempted to go 07ffl. Time will tell.

Is it still worth it with the new laws coming into effect June 2019 ? will you still be able to get ammo delivered to your home after June ?

I reload, so not been a real concern for me but I am also thinking of getting COE/FFL03

I mailed off my COE and FFL03 app on Monday 12/03 and got my COE Certificate in the mail today. Just waiting on the FFL03 now.

Paid $30 with the FFL03 Application (Processed payment as of 12/13)
Paid $95 for the live scan for the COE

After paying those fees, how often do you have to renew and pay those fees again?

The C&R (03FFL) is once every 3 years - Can't remember the fee but I think it is around $30
The CA COE is every year - $22
