    So much for AIM Surplus.

They won't ship to Napa County any longer.

Off I go to the gunshow this weekend.

You can ship it to me and you can meet my uncle somewhere off 101 in the north bay. He goes up 101 every Thursday night to go to the ranch in Mendocino.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

I'm checking into the friends thing. Waiting to see if they ship to Lake County.

If that pans and I can't find anything at the gun show on Saturday, I might take you up on your offer.

        Very much appreciated!

Is there any actual restriction in Napa or do companies like AIM just spin the bottle while drunk and make this stuff up?

That's what I'm trying to figure out.

            Hopefully he'll write back tomorrow.

Another possibility is if it doesn't work out to meet someone you could order and see if AIM will ship to a UPS depot (staffed customer service location) or store (some stores charge to receive, depots don't) in whichever county is closest with 'hold for customer pick-up'. Don't ask them, just put UPS address in as the place to ship.

I've never found it; sad that AIM is now on the goofy list like Cheaper and Sportsman's. I tend to have ammo shipped up north to my other local in Chico. ALL of Napa & the county is just plain wierd IMO; so while I have to frequent there I aint no fan of the place. YMMV...and will if ya' like wine...But I DONT!!!!!!

Hope your OOA friend (Out of Area ) come through. But be aware SOME place will not ship to anywhere but the Billable address to/for the card you're using
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered....

                  Here's the latest:

                  The CA restrictions are to:

Marin, Napa, Ventura & Yolo Counties and the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland & Sacramento.

                  Thanks

Guess Lake County is going to be okay.

Can you usually find SA surp at gun shows? It's been over 15 years since I've been to one.

And do people there take credit cards or will I need cash?

Miwall takes credit cards. I don't remember if they had surplus. Show this weekend in Vallejo I think.

Alot of the gunshow people can take credit cards, however most prefer cash. It all depends on the dealer you're buying from.
