    Kimber inventory

Any suggestions on who would stock a reasonable inventory of Kimbers in the SF bay area and nearby areas? I want a Stainless Ultra Carry II with a few additions. I live & work in the Montrey bay area but spend a lotta time between there and the Bay area and Sac.

Call around the local shops to see what they have. Most shops are limited by the inventory they have on hand if they can get any new Kimbers in. It took ~4-5 months to get the Kimbers in from the last Kimber group buy on here all in.

I love it! I have one gun that has always shot like crap and won't improve, I have another that won't let me miss! Neither are Kimbers.
The few Kimbers that I have been around shot really well and were very well made. I also want a good CCW that is light but still packs a big wallop!

Try Reed's in Santa Clara. I picked up a pistol there Sunday and they had lots of .45s. I didn't examine them but it looked like a few Kimbers in there. The last time I was at Markley's, which was a while ago, they had 1 or 2 on consignment for a pretty high price as I recall.

I know last time I was in Irvington a few weeks ago, they had a Ultra CDP II and Eclipse Ultra II. That is, until my wife bought the Eclipse.

Call over there (510-226-7910) and ask for Dave.

Other than that, you may want to search Kimber's dealer locator and call around.
