New Ar15 build need guidance

So as the title states. I need guidance in a new Ar15 build. It'll be my first build. I was one of 50 people to get ( what i think ) a killer dealer on a stripped lower from LaxAmmo.com for $15. So figured id give it a try.


So my question is. What should be the first thing i buy next?

Fyi i will be buying the juggernaut hellfighter kit with the houge mag release.

Need whatever help i can get. Thank you.

Buffer tube, buffer spring with buffer, complete lower parts kit, either complete or buy a LPK minus the fire control group to get a better trigger, and a upper. Again either complete which you have a ton to choose from that vary in price $199-$2000 and maybe a nice optic. The AR15 is like a LEGO set for men. Endless combinations

Btw the stripped lower is a "OMNI" lower

Decide how you want to build your AR. There are a lot of different configurations. Do you want a precision rifle, or a decent reliable shooter/plinker? What range will you mostly shoot (25 yard indoor, 100 yard outdoor, 300 yards....). The answers to those questions will guide your decision making.

If you're rarely going to shoot over 100 yards, and mainly plink rather than compete or hunt the simplest/most cost effective route is this: get an enhanced lower parts kit from Palmetto State Armory. Then look at their complete uppers and decide which one you like best. Get a buffer tube/kit to match the length of upper you want (carbine/mid/rifle length).

You'll need some basic AR tools. The magazine well vice block is a must and can be bought cheap on ebay. You'll need some decent punches (I just got mine at Home Depot), etc.

It is an omni polymer so it will be a light duty build anyway. Do not build as anything but 5.56/.223. I have one as an a occasional shooter. Truck gun.

I have two Omni lowers. The first generation and the second generation. The second generation is on a complete Omni Hybrid rifle. The first generation has a PSA upper. No issues at all.

Like others said, figure out what range you'll be shooting at and let us know your budget. Then we can give more precise guidance.

I'd look into getting a complete upper from Palmetto State Armory or Bear Creek Arsenal. Get yourself a cheap lower parts kit and stock kit from Primary Arms and you're set.
