Who would pay almost $400 for an 80% ??? I know it says 100% complete kit, but nowhere does it mention a slide or barrel or caliber, or anything about an upper assembly...am I missing something ???

What you have are people who do not understand what they are looking at, think they see some prohibited item so it will be yanked, and while they wait for it to be yanked they are clowning around with bids.

What I see with my eyes is an 80% poly frame, unfinished, no additional work has been done to it yet, and the kit contents are 100% intact - meaning everything that came from the factory to do the job is still in the box.

That said, it is possible that 80% frames/lowers are prohibited on ebay, I am not sure.

True. Bought a Sidewinder venom kit at ammobros for $50, it sells on opticplanet for 150. Sold it on ebay for 350 to some dude in FL.

The second picture even has the original price tag on the box, which shows $150.

Also it says “100% complete” meaning all the parts are there. You can see in the pictures that there are no holes drilled for the various pins and the polymer hasn’t been removed where the locking block and rear rail goes. So it’s still a normal 80%.

No doubt uninformed Ebay bidders thinking they are getting some hot, difficult to get item, no different than the hoards that hit gun shows during the panic-parades, believing they are getting a better deal, some reprieve from laws, something not documented, a rare item that just can't be found elsewhere, or some other concoction of discretion away from the eyes of law they have fermented in their heads.

Could also be foreign bidders trying to get around import/export laws.

Oddly enough, if you look at the banner at the bottom of the screen, where it shows "People who viewed this item also viewed..." there are several others also on Ebay that are listed from $150 to $175 as "buy it now" which means you would not have to bid at all.

So maybe stupid simply cannot be cured.
