Are Bay Area gun stores horrible or is it just me?

I've called up every gun store in the Bay Area and they all refuse to PPT my fixed mag AR pistol....furthermore, I remember when I was trying to PPT my featureless AK/AR and a majority of them still said no...

Meanwhile stores in Sacramento, Stockton, SOCAL never give me trouble. I don't get it. Someone please explain to me

Some of it is just you, but most stores in the bay area do indeed suck.

It is the no hassle approach to guns...they are not going to take a chance that you are either setting them up or are, indeed, trying to do something nefarious...

Take your business to a store that wants your business...
Wilson Protector .45, Springer 9mm Loaded, Franchi Instinct SL .12ga. and some other cool stuff for the kiddos...

I'm surprised the Bay Area still has gun shops.

There are a lot of threads here about PITA Nor Cal/bay area FFLs.

Down in so cal, Turners is the only shop pulling weird s**t. May be one or two others but most all are ok.

                      Good luck.

Try and find a home based FFL. They are usually more up to par.

after visiting the Bay Area recently we have concluded everyone is angry and miserable!
This includes shoppers, store clerks and tour guides !

We were delighted to leave that miserable place and will not be going back !

Cordelia gun exchange is dope if your in that area. Those guys rock. Small shop but they try hard to get anything not in stock and they do lots of black rifle stuff
