    Need target ideas

For a private day at burro cyn.
What are some target ideas that make for good shooting? I already have organics in mind (eggs, fruits, veggies...) maybe some ballons if im up for putting in the time. Bottles and cans may be fun but dont want to do too much of that cuz of all the cleanup.
Ideally something that can be shot repeatedly but will still react to being hit. Don't want to spend too much time with a cold range.

Restrictions are no metal targets due to fire hazard. The risk is real obviously.
Anything non biodegrable would most likely need to be cleaned up.

If you want biodegradable there's always vegetables from the dollar / 99 Cent Store. They might be tasteless and flavorless but they'll make good Targets on the cheap.

I haven't tried one of these resealing rubber / plastic balls but the reviews seem good... and I'm pretty sure midway's return policy is decent, If you don't like it.

Bowling pins. I also use the zombie industries skeet holding targets too.

So you are "One of those guys?

REALLY? "Organics" draw insects, particularly bee's to the range that everyone has to deal with (long after you are gone) and you organics people seldom clean up EVERY LITTLE BIT.

Bottles? Shooting at glass? Only a MORON shoots at glass. You will never get it all up. based on your post I am surprised you didn't suggest kitchen appliances too...

BTW... EVERYTHING needs to be cleaned up INCLUDING the biodegradable stuff!

Why not just INVEST in some target stands and shoot at cardboard and paper pistol and rifle targets like a responsible adult? These guys are over in Duarte and have everything you need..... https://www.alcotarget.com/

Go to the Mexican markets and get a bunch of limes, lemons, maybe some small cantaloupe. I use tic-tacs and Life Savers myself.

no bottles, no plastic at burro. no steel down range, and no plywood down range.

walking around the range and stepping on rotting fruit and vegetables is probably worse than stepping in dog poo.

I'm with OCequestrian on this that it draws flys and gnats like crazy and with the recent heat they've been abundant up there.

I never understood shooting at fruits and vegetables.

I typically shoot at IDPA or similar targets out there and shoot n see targets for something out a little further.

Dont rent their targets out there as they sit about 2 feet tall. and you shoot em, you buy em.

Just set up 2x4 target stands with 1x2 furring strips (all available at Home Depot or Lowes)

As a frequenter of private ranges at Burro please bypass bringing food to shoot at.

Roadside political campaign signs. Easy set up, push the rods in. Easy cleanup, pull the two rods out.

Slap a Shoot-n-C on them and blast away at democrats.
