30 day Dros delay

I purchased one you handgun. Then I decided to buy a new one at a different store four days later.

The last gun I bought, I had to wait a whole half hour for the DROS and then I walked out the door with it, dang, I have things to do. LOL. You gotta love Nevada. I can't wait until my CCW comes in, no DROS in Nevada with a CCW.

Damn I feel your pain. I'm right there with you. 3 guns in 3 days. 2 from dealers 1 PPT. I'll be waiting 28 days to DROS today's purchase.

i think you don't have to go thru the background check with a CCW

that's a $25.00 savings per firearm - my CCW cost just about $175 total (the class and CCW costs) - i've bought 6 firearms since i've been here so i've saved a total of $150.00 on background check - 1 more and the CCW basically pays for itself

just got my SIG Sauer P226 a couple of weeks ago - can't think of anything i need right now but im working on it

CA CCW good for proof and residence and safety course completion. Still got to go thru with the DROS fees, 10 day wait time and 30 purchase stuff. At least the weather here is nice.

im sorry too - i was replying to johnthomas's comment and i know he lives in NV also - there is still a DROS process in NV, we just don't have to have a background check run on us too if we have a valid CCW

but i am rooting strongly for CA gun owners to eventually have the same common sense gun laws, especially for CCW owners who still have to go thru that stupid background check even though they have a valid permit to carry
