Russian kits were going for about $1000 when I started looking for parts kits about a year and a half ago. I haven't seen one in a while, but I'm sure they're around.
Here's one: http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIte...Item=126183412
The pictures aren't working right, but it's there and it's not cheap!Dom

That's a type 2 kit, one of the more rare russian milled kits. Back in the day those were like $200-$300. There were no milled receivers so there was not much interest in these.
Most of the milled russian kits originated from a store in Northridge, CA.Type 2s and Type 3s. Maybe a few type 1s.
I found a type 3 kit for $500 but abandoned the project due to the price of the receiver at the time.
The stamped russian kits were $500 and originated from Joeken. Today they go for $1000-$1300. There were not that many, there are even less east german kits that also originated from Joeken.
All of the Russian and East German kits were PLO captured which is kinda cool.
ORF made some type 2 receivers.

You have to watch out on the stamped kit as sometimes during the demill the monkeys will cut the trunnion. Probably no big deal but for some (like me) that's a fail. Last year there was a beautiful matching number Izmash that was properly demilled that went well north of 1K.Comment
