Question about a SP2022 9mm to a 40cal

Hello Calguns,
I saw a guy selling a SP2022 9mm and had a Upper (Slide) Complete for a SP2022 40cal he was selling Both as One.
My Question can You Just Swap Barrels on a SP2022 9mm to a SP2022 40cal and have like 2 Pistols in 1....Yeah i know i would have to get 40cal mags...as they work fine (Just some slop).

Yes, you can install the 9mm barrel into the 40cal slide on a SP2022. Didin't even change recoil spring. Some 9mm barrels have lci so you will have a little hole on top when installed. My 40cal mags feeds 9mm bullets just fine but your mileage may vary.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that going from 40 cal to 9 mm is o.k. But, you can't go from 9 to 40(?). Not exactly sure where the issue lies.

I didn't know that, I just assumed they were like Glocks and would need an aftermarket conversion barrel.
I have a .40 and added a factory .357Sig barrel, I guess I could have 9 now also.

I’ve got enough 9s and I like my sig in .40 (also with the .357sig barrel, which I’ll probably never use...but I have it). So I’ll just keep it the way it is.

You should just another gun in the caliber you want.

I've heard a small wall in the nine frame is thinner than the stock forty. Ask him how often he has shot the forty.
