Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

This really weird, cause last night I hear on the news that someone went nuts at a Washington state trailer park and killed his family; all five children.

I'm 60 years old, and I've lived a few years to hear about a few of these mass shootings, but the amount of these in such a short time span recently is something else!

As others have said, no doubt the anti-gun crowd will use all of this as "fodder" to limit our 2nd amendment rights.

Human nature: Even folks that go by all the rules to obtain a firearm are just human being, and the human race is fallible, whether they are wielding a knife, driving a car, or own a firearm. We can't legislate against humanity's flawed tendencies.

Much as it saddens and shocks me to hear about these losses of life, these are done by humans who "willfully" commit the murder. It wasn't that long ago that a man used his car to willfully run down a bunch of people. Chances are he had been issued a driver's license.

Uncle Sam can't look into the inner workings of the human psyche, and weed out who has this potential or who doesn't.

It is human life..........Human life is rife with fallibility, and taking away firearms will not stop man's propensity to do what Cain did to Abel. He/man will find another tool to willfully do these immoral deeds.

Sorry for the repetitive posting, but I had forgotten to click, "Instant email notification" on my previous post. Once you submit your post, the option is gone if you go back and try "edit". Had to post new reply.
