FT3 Range in Stanton - Membership

Can any members clue me in on the why behind the price?
Field Time Target and Training memberships offer several perks over non-members. Free use of lane anytime during public business hours. Bring guests and pay 1/2

    $499/yr? Benefits:
    • Use of shooting lane for up to two hours per day
    • Priority lane designation / Phone ahead reservations*
    • Free use of any FT3 rental firearm*
    • 15% Discount of FT3 ammunition
    • Add a guest onto your lane for $10*
    • Add immediate family members to your membership for half price

That's pretty steep no? It's $20/day for non members, and I've read of zero times someone has been turned away because a lane wasn't available.

I'd have to go 25 times to get my money's worth from the membership fee. I actually want a membership so can a member please clue me in?

Before I was a member I paid like 75 bucks once for friends and ammo. Membership is the way to go plus the fact that the place is clean, well taken care of, and employees are phenomenal.

That is way way too expensive. Especially if you only need a range to shoot at and have your own guns and ammo.
Most of the benefits listed are really no big deal. $500 a year and you gotta pay $10 extra if you take the wife with you!!

The $20 a day with no time limit is the way to go.

I paid $99 a year at Firing Line in HB. $499 a year is highway robbery. That is the price of a new glock.

Does the parking there still suck?

That’s outrageous. I pay 60$ for the family and 10$ for evrytime I go or 20$ a pop for non members at my very nice range up here.

Agreed. And price seems like financial sodomy. I'd really shop around first and really consider how much you will actually use that pass.
