    Hearing protection

On Monday I bought my first rifle, so I am now looking for some hearing protection. I have no idea what I need. It would be helpful if someone can explain to me what I exactly need and how much it will cost. I have a low amount of money to spend, so keep that in mind.

Also, do most ranges require you to wear eye protection? If so, what should I be looking for?

    Thanks for your time.

Saving your ears - earplugs AND headphones. Cheap safety glasses should be good enough, but don't skimp on the hearing protection. The safety glasses issue is more important if you will be to the right of someone spitting spent cartridges your way
