I don't know their affiliations, on one hand it's funny if there's one less terrorist... on the other, I feel bad for the guy, getting hit with a 762x39 at close range is no joke... ouch.

Apparently he was having issues working his AK- at one point it looks like he’s looking down the barrel of a loaded gun (I’m still trying to figure out what he was doing there). Then gets shot, then throws it on the ground. The guy who shot him in the leg may have saved his life - I was think he was gonna shoot himself.
