Place to shoot around the Ridgecrest area?

hey guys I am going camping out at charlies place off of trona road. Can anyone recommend a good place do do some shooting in the area?

Ridgecrest is in the most gun-friendly valley in the state. You can shoot pretty much anywhere out in the desert...just make sure you have a good backstop (like a mountain or a railroad berm) and are away from the highways.

The actual ranges (5 of them) that serve the valley are on South Brown Road (Old 395), South of Inyokern. The NRA range goes out to 600 yards. Membership is $25 / year (I think), and can be had at GUNS4US on East Ridgecrest Blvd in town.
