Rifle photos - Which side looks better??

OK, so this is probably one of the dumbest polls in calguns history. It gives you a taste of the weird s*** that goes on in my head.

When I see people posting photos of their new builds or the rifles that they are selling, they usually display them one of two ways:

    1)

    2)

I personally dont understand why people post photos of option 2. It just looks goofy. If a rifle had a face, I think it would be on the side the ejection port is on (option 1). Under that same logic, if you wanted to show off a photo of your girlfriend, you wouldnt show a picture of the back of her head, would you? ... some of you should though

So which side looks better to you?????

(Im not worried about the quality of the photo, glare, etc, but the side the rifle is lying on.)

not even the wrong side thing but also the way they use the flash to take out all other objects of the picture just makes it look fake.

I like the first. No glare.

          1. is to dark, less detail and out of focus. Background is ugly.

          2. bright clean, see detail, nice white background.

Well if you show the ejection port side of an AR you don't get to see the pretty writing on the other side. Orientation is important, always show the good side.

Im not concerned with the quality of the photos. Those are just examples. I just want to why some people like displaying rifles "upside down" (for lack of a better phrase)

Definitely #1. For the exact reasons you stated.

I don't like either one of them so I won't vote. I don't like the first because its too dim almost. I really don't like the second because its really washed out and just shows it in a plain bad light. With something in the background like the post above, and with proper lighting, either of them could look good.

If its an AR, then most like to show the emblem. If its a bolt action rifle- show the bolt/ejection port side. If its a pistol like a glock- featureless- show either side. If its a pistol with features, 1911, HK, etc. show the feature side...

Yeah, I often see AR's with the ejection port downward so they can show off their emblem. That makes sense to me.

Still though, the rifle on top (in the photo below) looks awkward and backwards to me. Apparently some of you agree too:
