I bought my wife a Ruger 38 special. She did OK with it, but she wanted a Semi but knew she could not rack the slide. We heard about the EZ, we went to a gun store and she racked it, loaded and unloaded mags so we bought one. We went to the range three times for her to get used to it and from the get go, was in the kill zone every single shot. A couple of weeks ago we took the class and qualification for our NV CCW. She can take it down, clean it, load the mags and rack the slide like a pro. 380 gives me pause as to stopping power, but the mags are loaded with Hornady Critical Defense, .380 ACP 90 gr FTX. After watching my wife try 7 other semi auto handguns, this by far is the best for her.

Did your Mom buy a Walther P-22 in a designer color?

I like my Walther P-22/ almost as much as my Browning Buckmark both are .22LR - and find the magazines easy to load. But then I have large hands... I find the CZ-75BD magazines on the right more difficult to load, due to the new and stiff magazine springs.



Here is my Ruger GP-100 chambered in .357 magnum with the 6 inch bull barrel and target sights.



I have been thinking of getting another GP-100 with a 3 or 4 inch barrel for a possible CCW weapon.
