But we can't fire more than one rd with a single trigger pull right? CA will call it a machine gun.

              Beat me to it!
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

They can turn it mechanical I would think. Let a few more engineers on that thing and we may have that cool future gun.

I saw those guns used in "Starship Troopers". The bugs still got them.

I think I'll stick with my "junk" as he refers to every gun that came before his "masterpiece".

This is not the first go at case-less ammunition, it was dropped years ago. The concept fascinates me and I hope to see something like this viable. I think plastic cartridges are the next thing.

solving the problem of using out-dated technology. sure we got much pretty packaging on it, but in effect, it is really old tech.

tech always needs to be pushed especially military tech.

Texas company True Velocity, LLC, has released the first images of their advanced lightweight polymer composite cased ammunition design via Instagram.Training company BAT Defense sent out an image of what appear to be 12.7×108, .50 BMG, and 5.56mm rounds made by True Velocity, saying that the ammunition was originally developed to reduce the weight of ammunition carried by light helicopters (such as Littlebirds).
