    Airsoft Facts Story

My 11 year old son and I walk into WalMart last weekend to reward him for saving his allowance, and working hard in school. He wants a clear plastic Air-Soft AR 15. The gentleman behind the counter says, "Sorry son, I cannot sell this to you until you turn 18.

I was a little puzzled. He says the laws are the same as buying a rifle without the DROS wait period or the background check....

Needless to say, I handed the gentleman the money, and let my son walk out with the AR...

We went home and shot up the neighborhood

Oh yeah, sorry, I bought the last 7 boxes of Remington .223 for $9.47/box

The law says you do have to be 18 to buy an airsoft gun. Of course it depends on where you go... some shadier places will sell a minor an airsoft gun, but they're not supposed to.

With the potential eye damage that an airsoft gun can do, I wouldn't want any kid to be able to buy one with out adult consent.
