    City to city transfer?

First, not sure this is the right section but...does anyone in Orange Country area know of an FFL that will accept a gun from an individual being shipped from another CITY in CA?

For a PPT both parties must use the same FFL. If it is shipped it no longer qualifies as a PPT. It is then a dealer transfer and the dealer can charge any transfer fee he see's fit. If it is a handgun it must be on the roster for this to take place, as the PPT exception is no longer valid.

              Good advice but should mention:

On Roster or Roster Exempt C&R.

There are two different kinds of transfers you can do at an FFL and they have different rules.

A Private Party Transfer occurs when two private parties go to the FFL in person and have the FFL hold the gun while a background check is run.
Private Party Transfers have a legislated maximum charge that the FFL can charge of $35 and are also exempt of the safe handgun roster.

A regular transfer occurs when the seller mails the gun to an FFL near the buyer so that the buyer can then go do his background check.
Regular transfers have no legislated maximum charge so the FFL can charge whatever they want. Regular transfers are not exempt of the safe handgun roster.
