    Gunfighter Oil... great stuff!

A couple of months ago, I decided to give Gunfighter gun oil a try.

I just wanted to throw them a shout-out since I really like this stuff. Up until now, I've been a fan of M-Pro 7, but I like this much better.
I've been running it on Glocks, Sigs, my 1911, ARs, some bolt guns, and my beloved 45-70. Really good stuff.

The thing I also like... being 100% synthetic means no break-down or getting sticky for the couple of ladies in the safe that don't come out quite as often as all my others. (I shoot a lot).

Its not as thick. This stuff is like other gun oils consistency wise... just perfectly clear.

I do appreciate Jason's attempt to share new product info with the rest of us. However, the reality is success of all consumer goods & services is determined mostly by marketing.

The best anything gun product comes out about every month.

If a product worked 30 years ago, chances are it'll still work.

M-Pro-7 is good stuff. But I can't write that it's better than comparable products.

CinnamomBear is probably on the right track.

I dunno... I buy mostly everything online or at LGS's, which in my area are all mom & pop.

I'm pretty sure it's NOT made from real gunfighters, since the company says 100% synthetic. Maybe synthetic gunfighters?

More than likely its an existing industrial lubricant that was designed from some specific purpose, and just happens to great for guns... and a smart dude packaged it up. Or, it was specially designed for gun use... I don't know. But, I picked up a bunch more when it was on sale for Labor Day, and I'm very happy with it.

No, but, a key molecule in the polymer chain was cloned from a drop of gunfighter sweat.

It was a hot day. Folks ran quickly from the dusty street. A door slammed in the distance. A horse swished it's tail at a fly...

**Another informative and entertaining Calgun thread.

Went to the link. Looks interesting. Probably works well. I have a lot of MP7 sitting around. When that is gone and if this oil is still around, I’ll probably give it a shot.

I literally cant tell any difference between motor oil, gun specific oil, general purpose oil as long as its properly lubed. Heck all my guns will run 100% dry and they feel the same when firing.

The only real thing I prefer is that its not too thin. Because when its warm outside it will run off. So I prefer something the sticks and stays put, like a lower viscosity grease like breakthrough battle born grease works well or that tetra stuff in the tube...
