Need Help.. Re; Trigger Pull Gauge

Is there a trigger gauge that measures maybe up to 15-16 pounds? NRA free weight can measure as you can add weights, but I am looking for a spring gauge or electronic gauge. The heaviest that I found was Lyman that measures up to 12 pounds. I need a gauge that can measure double action revolver trigger pull of a double action revolver.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Small pocket fish scales will cover that and may be up to 25 lbs. Surprisingly accurate too and cheap.

A few grams one way or another is not much if trigger is Passed 10 or 12 lbs.

Thank you. That is a good idea. Never thought about that.

15-16 lbs? You don't need a gauge, you need a trigger job.

Might want to be extra safe while carrying it.

If that's the case. You should contact Bolsa Gunsmithing and ask if they are willing to put it down in writing and what is the mfg factory setting.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

Here is a 20lb force gauge that would do what you need:

These are push/pull force gauges and they record the peak reading.
These have mounting screws on the back so you can build them into a fixture if necessary.
Both ends of the force measurement rod are threaded so you can attach things to it to either push or pull depending on which end you attach to.
I have a 10lb model that I made my own trigger hook for.

                    Here is a 30lb:

You can remove that bracket/lever stuff from the back and use it as a standalone gauge.

                    And a 50lb:

Thank you. That will be a big help. I am meeting with a detective on Monday. So, I will have to improvise, but this will be good for the future.
