Stiff Charging Handle

How stiff should a charging handle be? I see people on the tube pulling theirs back easily. Is it a good or bad thing to keep it stiff? Seems like mine is harder to pull back but not like something is stopping it or jamming it. Feels i have a new coil spring in there somewhere! Lol

It should be the normal stiffness.
New ones are extra stiff until you get a few hundred rounds through the gun and the bolt carrier group and receiver are broken in.

If it’s stiff for more than 4 hours, you should see a Dr.

Pull on it like a man and your issues will be solved. Also some lube helps.

Have you thought about putting some gun oil/lube on it?
