So is anyone familiar with this place?

My Family is trying to arrange a range day for Saturday for my 50th B-day. We will have 3(4) adults and one 15yo. Otherwise are there better ranges that I could not find? Mostly pistol and my FIL as a Marlin 30-30.

I went for a hands on gun show once. It was hot but otherwise a good experience.

On weekends raahauges is always super crowded. Like you need to wait for someone to leave crowded.

Yeah, it must be in Riverside to Upland area.. It does not have to be outdoor only but indoor ranges make me nervous... too many idiots.

On a Saturday, go to West End Gun Club.
It's east of upland and northwest of riverside.

I just want options for a family. I normally go to La Puente gun club but needed to know what's out in the Riverside area as that is where my In Laws live..

If you are in the OC area, then Raahauges is the closest outdoor range where you can shoot pretty much any gun. Prado is more restrictive on what you can shoot.

If you go on the weekend, get there 30-45 minutes before they open. Get there much after they open and you can end up waiting for a while.

Be packed up and ready to go when your time is up. RO gets really crabby if you aren't out on time.

Don't plan on targets that have to be placed on the ground.

Usually free donuts if you are there early on the weekend.

I'm a lifetime NRA and belong to CRPA, 2AF and GOA. So no problem there. I just haven't been able to get to the range in a while due to life crap...

But thank you for the info. This helps a lot. This may be my go-to range.
