Outdoor Ranges in L.A. and Orange County

What are the best options for a public outdoor range in the greater Los Angeles/Orange County area?

Angeles is one for your list.

      Burro Canyon maybe.

Thank you -I will check out their websites. I've got an itch that needs scratching.

Been a while since I have been to Burro, but Angeles has a rimfire metal target section and a section for larger caliber handguns.

Get there early and avoid the weekend if possible.

Thanks for the info...yes, I was planning a midweek trip and I was aiming to get there early to avoid both crowds and heat. It sounds like fun.

Angeles for most things, Oak Tree for some.
                Both are great for handguns.
Mid week (morning time) it will be less busy. I am planning to go tomorrow (opening time) to Angeles to shoot my recently cerakoted 1911.

Answer kind of depends on where you are located and what your traffic BS tolerance is.

Went as planned to Angeles. It was very light, lots of space. Now I am thinking of hitting LAX range for dinner.

Angeles Shooting Range in Sylmar for rifle / pistol / SHotgun (different shotgun clays range but it's nextdoor)

Oaktree Gun Club in Newhall for rifle / pistol / Shotgun

Triple B's in El Monte for Shotgun

Shooting static targets has just become utterly boring for me. It's all about the clay shooting! Moving targets are so much fun!
