    Stevens by Savage Rifles / Shotguns

    Afternoon;

    I have a relative that has some older rifles and shotguns that do not have serial numbers. When they are made serial numbers were not included with the Stevens guns.

    Any issues with having them? With all the California Laws, just checking on these before we do anything with them.

    There are probably many tens of thousands of legally owned firearms acquired before 1968 and/or legally transferred face-to-face as they became C&R eligible (prior to 2014, was it?).

    I’m pretty sure most people assume the whole ghost gun laws are just for scary black rifles...

      Not a problem. I would take detail pictures of inspection marks to be able to have prove ownership incase they are stolen.
