Just for some laughs, theoretical gun question.

Now don't blame me, you were warned in the title and I'm just trying to help you waste time.
If you're not here for that, the room for the argument is two doors down on the left.

    Now...

Would you rather have an extremely reliable electronic handgun that has a very large but finite electronic ammo supply, let's say ten thousand rounds, with almost the exact knock down power/ accuracy of a 9 mm handgun, before needing "reloading" by plugging it into a USB for a 24 hours?

    OR

The development of new electronic projectiles that could be adapted to any caliber made currently, so you could shoot it in any of your guns,
that guarantees one shot instant incapacitation (not killed, just stunned for 10 minutes) if the living animal or human is hit in any part of their body?

    * I'm going to blame this goofy thread idea on a radio program I heard while switching channels last week all about....

would you prefer to have the power of invisibility
    or
    have the power to fly.

They were acting like it was a big debate when clearly (at least
to me) the power to fly would be superior.

Do either of these guns have recoil?

Do I only get one round of the incapacitating projectile? Or a full mag, or unlimited?
    my Benitez goes to 11

How about forget the guns, and just keep the invisibility and fly package deal.

^ Hahaha... this is what they said on the radio program.
That people try and find out more information and find "a way around the system" before they make their choice.

The $500 electronic handgun would have about the same recoil as a .22 LR caliber and it would punch holes in paper targets about the size of 9 mm, but with burnt edges.

The electronic incapacitation rounds would be being fired out of any traditional firearms, so they would have the same recoil, unless some hand loader got a hold of them and made light power loads, but because Samsun-gun is selling them at a dollar per round , regardless of caliber.... many of the hand loaders are all just making old timey grumpy man noises.

            No there isn't !!!

( if we we're actually in the argument room thread, this is when you would say...

            "Yes there is !!! " )

I would take the phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range....with USB connection.

A buck a round? Stuns anyone who gets shot by it for 10 minutes?

Sounds like my 300 win mag. Last thing that got shot with it was stunned WAY longer than 10 minutes.

My choice would be a good old fashioned pump shotgun and plenty of non electric shells. Far superior to those other options.

                  Would it help if it

                  went up to 11.

This theoretical electronic handgun is actually using "unphased plasma".

I would want military and LE to test it out and then if that is what they use I would want to have that too, next to my unreliable firearms.

Neither, "unphased plasma" is known by the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects in lab rats and other Progressives.

Get back to me when you have the round that will vaporize the target leaving no trace evidence.

Would love to fly, but invincibility would be probably serve me better.

I would just make up an EMP generator to nullify your electronic handgun and then steal your invisibility.
