All is well. Gun is fantastic. CZ97B.

That's exactly why some shops do this in addition to DES delays and system issues that prevent the dealer from releasing. Customer gets pissed and vents at the FFL who has zero control over it.

I recall a very specific incident where I was helping customer #1 and customer #2 got irate because I was taking "too long" with customer #1 on his multi-firearm DROS.

#2 gave me a little attitude when I was done with #1 and asked if #2 was here for pickup. I entered the DROS info into DES and lookie, lookie, he was here 30 mins early, so I couldn't deliver. Naturally, he became more irate and told me that it was BS and would never come back again.

I didn't argue despite him acknowledging that he came early. I simply said, "Well, sir, I can cancel the DROS and refund your money less a 20% restocking fee and background fee or you could wait until after your 240 exact hours are up."

He opted to wait quietly and patiently for the remainder of the 20 minutes like a person who realized that the world didn't revolve around him. Guess what? I logged in 2 minutes after the designated delivery time and DES had not yet authorized. It took another 15 minutes of logging off and on until DES allowed release.

    Karma is fun at times.

I know they used to be 11 days but I guess they changed.
Turner's has always been 10 days for me, except when the day 10 time falls on a weekend after they've closed, then it's next day.

I pity you CA guys; wondering if you have to wait 9 or 10 or more days to get the gun you legally bought. Get out of that state
          as quick as you can.

Thank you for this information. I wonder why no one else has told us this...

It is funny that 11 day waits are still a thing in the modern era with new DROS system. Some/all Turner's locations stopped 11 day waits even during the old days as I was told they were told by DOJ to knock it off.

The DOJ opinion being that not allowing the full 20 days to pickup gun was a violation or something. Obviously this does not apply when shop isn't open for business. I've had 12 day waits because a 10 day ends on a Sun and business is closed Sun-Mon. I've had 100++ day waits due to one a month laws.

It isn't a deal killer for me but it does add to my list of places I rather not do business with if I encounter it. Like charging over $25 for DROS when buying guns from the stock of a gun shop. (Yes Turner's that's you!)

My hero was the dude here that told Turner's give him gun on 10th day. They refused. He said give me all my money back. They said okay minus restocking fee. He said nope, I'll just contest with my credit card you refused to release gun when legally able to. They released the gun.

Making them come in on the 11th day avoids that.
If the salesman writes on the receipt: "Earliest pickup date is ___ at ____ (time) like they did at "Greta's Guns," customer won't be a douche.
