    Classified thread suddenly deleted

I'm a junior member with little activity...having sold a few firearms and interacted a bit. Yesterday about this time I posted a new automatic Benchmade knife for sale. Without notice, the listing is gone.

Having been a member of other forums, I know that when someone posts something in conflict with the rules, they get a slap on the hand and a message from a moderator. I wasn't able to find any restrictions so I am asking if there are any for posting this type of knife.

    Thanks!

      Above are the Rules.

Thread crapping on someone else's sale can get also you removed from the Marketplace.

If you do not think you did anything wrong after reading the Rules, send a PM to one of the mods. asking for help.

They are listed at the bottom of the sub-forum when you enter it.

Edit: As Maxx said, if it is illegal, the posting will be removed.

Unless being sold to LE or active duty. A disclaimer to that effect should allow the listing to stand, correct?

Did you post it in the non firearms related marketplace ?
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Yes, but no worries. I'll just hang onto it.

Strange. I once posted an ad for some hookers and blow I was trying to get rid of and had no problems with it. Must be membership status.

Good point. OP could have been selling an Impel.

I remember researching this years ago.

As far as I remember there are exceptions for LEO on duty and people with only one arm or hand.

You are prolly thinking about the Federal Law about shipping across state lines. CA has no exemptions.

Just posting it for sale broke the law.
