I am soooo digging on the SKS! I keep thinking about getting one of those stocks for mine, and couldn't decide-until now. Looks great, and with the tactical sling, looks like it works as it should, too.

Can you please tell me what brand that is?

I bought the "compliance" kit for it. So it came with the stock, gas piston, operating rod, gas tube cover. I think that's it. The bolt is still foreign though. I think I'm good...let me know if I need to add any other parts.

BTW...it's all made by Tapco USA.

Well YEAH but good luck finding someone to ship to Cali. You'd be lucky to find a rusted out "hose rebuild" kit around here!

Yeah, I tried to cover all the bases as best I could for as little money as possible and I feel like those are all pretty solid choices.

And I wholeheartedly agree with your sig line about the AR, Im in exactly the same boat.
