NRA Basic Pistol Certificate... ?

I just realized that I have yet to receive my completion certificate from the NRA Instructor for the Basic Pistol class I took back in April. I emailed him about a month later asking about it and his response was that he would send it.

Will I ever need it for anything else?

The only thing I've found it good for is if you apply for an out of state CCW, it usually works for the shooting portion.

If you decide to become an NRA instructor for Basic Pistol you will need a copy to show proof you took the course since it is a prerequisite for the instructor course.

But I am considering training for a CWW here in CA. Would I need it for that?

Doubt it, the issuing department will have a list of qualified instructors that teach the class to their standards.
