Since all of those transfer's took place in Massachusetts you're going to have to find out what their laws are regarding the transfer's. As far as transferring it to you, (not a PPT by the way) it sounds like you have a handle on what is required by federal law.

I would suggest you shop around for an FFL on your end, as their price for a dealer transfer can vary, and is not set by law. Also it is not a requirement to have it shipped from an FFL, although some shops do have a policy of not accepting shipments from non-FFL holder's.

This is not a PPT. That is a transfer between two California residences. What you need is to find an FFL on your end that will receive the rifles your uncle ships to them. The FFL will do the transfer, hold them for the waiting period, then they are yours. Note that the California FFL can charge anything he wants for this service, $75-100 per gun is typical.

When my grandfather passed on he had Arms from the 40's-50's-60's from all over the country --They went to my mother. She just took them -- When she passed . they went to me . I went into my local FFL . Told them the history. I also had a copy of both death certificates ..Took me a while but i had them all transferred to me in my name

Not in NorCal, so can not tell you of any shops. Has to go FFL to FFL. Then registered to you in Cali.

Your best bit is to find a pawn shop or a kitchen table ffl. They usually do this kind of service for a nominal fee.
