    Marlin1895SBL or CZ Scorpion

    I want both but only have enough to get one. But which? Probably won't take either out of the safe for awile as I will need to keep it hidden from the wife. I can't decide. So Jurassic World gun in 45-70 in case T-Rex is spotted in the neighborhood or CZ Scorpion carbine w/ faux suppressor

      Based purely on political BS and noncence gun laws in California- start with the Scorpion. You never know how much time we have left for featureless rifles.

                              True. Not worried too much about that. If it came down too that I'd buy it before any additional laws are passed

                                              I'm a big lever fan. I'm also not a fan of the Scorpion. But, ALWAYS buy the gun that is closer to being banned. That means buy a Scorpion.
