Has anyone registered an ar receiver stamped multi but checked 5.56 caliber? I know they dont ask for photos but can you get in trouble if you checked 5.56 but receiver says multi?

It seems that they PREFER you entered the actual caliber of the barrel you are using instead of Multi.
Lots of people who entered Multi are having problems.

It's too bad that you wore out the 5.56 barrel already...
It won't matter if you changed the barrel after submitting your registration.

I transferred a AR build on a Aero lower in 2015 marked Multi to my son.
They rejected multi and had to go with 556.
