I can only hope it happens. Not because I particularly want open carry, but because it will put pressure to allow easier CCW. Faced with anyone and everyone open carrying, scarring the masses, handing out CCWs to a statisticsly small number of people is is probably the easier pill for Sacramento to swallow.

I'm afraid I'm not very optimistic on this. The recent ruling by the 9th was correct but I doubt the decision will survive en banc. What really needs to happen is for Kavanaugh to get approved and let's hope he's a staunch 2A defender. Then Ruth needs to get hit by a bus or meteor or something and another conservative judge appointed. Then we've got a shot.

Until then, I'm just not holding my breath. I truly hope I'm wrong here. I'd love to see the 9th's decision stand. I just don't think it will.

I do not believe that OC in any form will be realized with the present communist view point in political control of the PRKALI

They may not like it but if it is the law of the land, they have to abide by it. As mentioned, pro gun people can then start pressuring them for a much easier “shall issue” with time limits and longer permits or watch everyone start open carrying.
