What methods, during a clearing procedure, do people utilize to "Tap" the bottom of the magazine on a Glock 26 without a magazine extension (10 round mag)? One of the my fingers hang below the magazine impeding a normal "Tap".

Tap & Rack Glock 26

I am assuming its your pinky finger that you speak of. I have large hands so I just extend my pinky to do the tap. If that doesn't work for you, might install a +0 Pearce on your mags. Not a magazine extension that adds rounds but aids in griping. Good luck.

Step 1: Sell the Glock 26
Step 2: Buy a Glock 19.In case it wasn't obvious, nothing I write here should be interpreted as legal advice.Comment

You shoot a 26 with pinky’s extended anyway. Let’s the bad guy know your super serious.Comment

Unless you have mongaloid hands, get your pinky off the mag well and do a normal tap rack. I’ve carried a 26 for 5 years. It’s how I do it.Ephesians 6:10Comment

I use my support hand thumb to seat the mag. Or re-seat as needed.
Don't take the "tap" literally. Re-seating the mag on sub compacts just needs more deliberate action. Just can't use the heal of your [emoji112] 's.
